Joyce Moss is an accomplished nurse who attended California State University, Sacramento where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She earned her Master of Nursing in Nursing Management at University of Phoenix, and a Master of Science with emphasis in Wound Healing and Tissue Repair at Cardiff University Wales, United Kingdom. Joyce has held many Nursing positions throughout her exemplary career. Her most recent experience has been at the Veterans Administration Northern California Health Care System, as a Wound Ostomy Coordinator. Joyce developed the Nurse-run Wound Ostomy clinic at the VA in Sacramento. Joyce also has been employed as Staff educator, Wound Specialist at AccentCare Home Health. She served as Regional Education Coordinator-Wound Care Specialist at AllCare Home Health Services. Currently Joyce volunteers her time with the Placerville United Ostomy Support group lending her 25years of Ostomy care and education to promote a better understanding and improved access to care for ostomates, families and healthcare staff.
